Name of the Rose

A few weeks ago I tore out a picture in the Guardian newspaper showing an upcoming exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery of Cy Twombley paintings. I'd seen an exhibition of his work at the Tate Modern, not long ago and really like some of them, so made a note to visit this one if possible. Well, it turned out that the gallery is 2 minutes walk from my work, and I'd had no idea, so last week I popped in during my lunch break, and really liked it. This was my favourite, the others are a bit orangey for me, but red and light blue is one of my best colour combinations.

Mrs Doubtfire

A friend has just set up a new business called Mrs. Doubtfire - with her and others offering their services as PAs, nannies, cleaners, chefs. Serious multitasking! They are creating their website, and asked me to do a few relevant drawings that they might be able to use. These are my first rough attempts, and although done from my head (so details are probably not quite true to life), I quite like how they've come out. We'll see what happens...
