For Posterity

I've been working on a new website design and build in the last few months, which has been a steep learning curve, and is now online and up and running. The website is for a great salvage and reclamation yard in the Cotswolds called Posterity, they have all sorts of treasures - furniture, antiques, amazing chandeliers... They're having a bit of a rebrand, and a friend of mine has just opened a café called Salvation on the site. It's well worth a visit if you find yourself in the Ledbury area! New Look!

If you've been here before, you might notice that I've had a bit of change around on the blog... the new design ties in with my new website (but was easier to do so is a bit of a sneak preview). Hopefully the website will follow in the next couple of weeks, so watch this space!

Back on the Blog!

This blog has been quiet for too long! A mix of moving house, not having internet access and other excuses has meant a terrible gap between posting, but that is over now. One of the things I've been working on, and just just finished, is this website for my sister Sasha who is an artist, and who has owned her domain name for years without having anything to see there. And now she has. Next up is my own website, now that I've learned so much more about how to build them properly!

Teddy Bears Picnic

Yesterday the latest issue of Small Magazine (an absolutely beautiful online childrens/parents magazine) came out. In their last issue I contributed a DIY project on finger puppets, and this time round one of my beeb bears was featured as part of their "the new bears in town" spread, alongside some of my favourite designer/makers like Abigail Brown and astulabee...

Small Glory

Today the new issue of Small Magazine (a very lovely quarterly online magazine) came out, an event I've been waiting excitedly for for a while because... I contributed this issue's "Small Project" pages! I put together step by step instructions for making a simple card finger puppet family a while ago, and am completely thrilled to see it in print. Beyond my small glory, the whole magazine is well worth a browse, whether you have children or not.

Papernstitch

Today I'm the featured shop on Papernstitch, an online curated exhibition/market that I've been taking part in for the last couple of weeks. The website and blog are great reads, very inspiring, and I'm thrilled to have my things on there (with links to Etsy where you can buy), amongst lots of lovely artists and makers.
